Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. The lost of a love one is the most painful experience we have in life. There is a void that cannot be filled. Rest assured the Bible promises we will hold them again and enjoy their smiling faces forever. It is God's purpose that no one dies ever again and everyone live on earth in Paradise. God never wanted anyone to die but to live happy healthy lives forever on earth. We have to exercise faith in his Son, Jesus Christ, to gain these blessings. God gives us his Word so we can gain comfort now and have hope for the future.

Bill, my deepest sympathies are with you and the boys at this time. I remember meeting Jane about 6 or 7 years ago when she was setting up her practice in Oconomowoc and I had the great opportunity to work on her business logo. I also have fond memories of her, along with your family, at the OJWC Kids Who Can events. She was so brave during treatment, and came to the OJWC meetings with nothing on her head but a sassy pair of eyeglasses. That indomitable spirit is what will live on in memories and through your sons. May God's healing hand be wrapped closely around you now. Take care. Kate and John Winckler - Oconomowoc

I am blessed and so thankful to have had Jane as a friend. Actually a friend since Kindergarten. The one friend that was there for me in 2nd grade after I wet my pants during a class play in front of everyone. After a morning of teasing from my classmates, Jane was the one friend that comforted me and said "it didn' t matter to her" and stayed with me while I hid in humiliation. That kind of friendship will stick with me forever.
As we grew older, got married, found our careers and had our children, we always managed to reconnect and make time for road trips to designated shopping destinations which always included antiques shops, craft malls, the Hobby Lobby and of course, dinner. Jane always had the capability in talking me into buying something that I had my eye on. And everything I ever purchased that she convinced me to buy I have never regreted. Now everytime I spot that framed art of painted roses, the old antique photos and unique knick knacks in my home- I will think of Jane and are good times together.
Over the last year we weren't able to arrange a weekend road trip due to her illness but I was able to spend a over night with her on her final days with us. I am so thankful I had that time with her and was able to help care for her. We were able to cry, laugh and talk about so much. Even with all her worries, fears and the pain she was having, she still so interested in hearing about my kids, my work and my dreams.
During the night, she shared with me how Bill had purchased a plot for the both of them and talked about the fence around the cemetary (a great place for Luke to come and be in a safe place) but she also told me how she kept having visions of herself floating around the cemetary and on our earth as a butterfly after she is gone. That gave her some comfort.
So next spring- when you smell the first scent of the fresh cut grass, the flowers begin to bloom and you see a butterfly
make its rounds, you too can feel comforted that the butterfly is a symbol of Jane's presence.
May our Jane our friend, Mother, Aunt, Sister, Wife and Daughter- rest in peace and may we all be comforted by the memories and many gifts she has given us! And as Jane and agreed to say when I left her the last time I saw her...
"I will see you soon!"- We will all see her soon!
With Love, Laurie

Dear Bill, Liam, Luke and Jack, We are very sorry to hear of the death of your wife and mom. As clients of hers, we liked her very much and appreciated her legal expertise. In our dealings with her, conversations about family were part of the meeting. It was very apparent she loved all of you very much. God has relieved her pain and suffering and replaced it with joy and happiness in heaven. She is your angel now and will always be with you in your hearts. May God wrap is arms around each of you and give you peace at this most difficult time. Most sincerely, Frank and Marsha Zelloth

To Bill Mulcahy and Family, My Deepest Sympathy goes out to you and your children in this time of loss. You and your Family will definately be in my Thoughts and Prayers. I will never forget the first time that I had met Jane. I had met Jane when I use to attend St. Coletta School in Jefferson, Wisconsin from 1990-1994 and that is also where I had met her Husband too Mr. Bill Mulcahy. I remember Jane at that time having long blonde hair and she always walked around the campus smiling and was just friendly to everybody. Jane will be missed but never forgotten. Once again.... I am sooo sorry for the loss Bill and my Thoughts and Prayers are with You and Your Family. Erin McGuire

I have always loved to paint, that is rooms, not artwork! Knowing Jane's love for decorating, I offered to help her paint the play room/office/den/room off the back bathroom(?!) at their old house in Oconomowoc. I will never forget how impatient Jane was with painting, how Lumpy wanted NOTHING to do with it, and how many stories Jane and I shared during that time. I remember trying to convince Jane that taping off around the trim and windows was very important and would give things a nice finished look. But it took too long!!! Consequently, this discussion lead to the purchase of a new-fangled, rolling, trim brush, thingy, at the local hardware store which made Jane much happier as our progress was notably quicker!
I love the quiet and still of painting. The attention to detail and knowing that I can start something and see the immediate result. Jane encouraged and praised me the whole time. We laughed and shared our favorite Lumpy stories. Shared the joys and challenges of parenting and shared a bond.
I learned a lot about Jane that day. She was strong, so strong but quiet on the inside. She had a fun laugh and loves her boys. She became a role model for me and one I wanted for my children. A confident, intelligent, loving wife, mother and friend is how I will hold her in my heart.
In case your wondering what color we painted the room, I think it was a pale, sage green color :) Next on the agenda was the kitchen and those horrible gray cabinets!! Not for certain, but I think she may have progressed so much in her painting abilities that she may have attempted those on her own. :))

Dear Bill and the boys, Please know of my prayers for all of you these difficult days. I have remembered you at Mass here at St. John Neumann and my powerful weekday pray people join me in offering our sympathy and support. I have such fine memories of all of you, especially the Baptisms! And Jane, of course, was my attorney and drafted my will, for which I am so grateful. I have another funeral on Saturday at the parish so I can't come to join you but I will be thinking about you and holding you in love and prayer. Please keep in touch. (note to Lumpy: Michael from St. Coletta's comes here often on Sundays for Mass) Blessings and Peace, Fr. John

Not sure if the previous message went thru so am sending another. As an employee of the Waukesha County Probate office for the last 14 years, I came to know and love seeing Jane come into our office. She always had a smile and a very good attitude even though she was dealing with health issues. I was so proud of her the first time she came into work bald as an eagle after losing her hair to the chemo therapy. She was just that confident in herself. She was the only woman I have ever known that had the guts to pull this off. I knew then, what a special person she was. She always would talk about her 3 boys while waiting for her professional matters to be dealt with here in our office. She was SO proud of each of them and loved to tell me about all their accomplishments in and outside of school. You could easily tell that those three boys were the center of her universe. She was such a special person. I, personally, will miss her infectious smile and positive attitude. she was a true professional in so many ways. God bless her soul. May God also keep her family in his loving arms thru this time of extreme pain and sorrow. Just know that you are not alone. Janet Herr, (home address-N25 W24069 River Park Dr #24 Pewaukee WI 53072)

To Jane's family. My sympathy goes to you all as you learn to live without the hugs and smiles that she gave to you. Her energy and love will live on inside of you. I was not honored to have met Jane. I am a friend of her sister, Treesa. By knowing Treesa, I am positive this world is a better place for having had Jane in it. Rejoice that she is now with her maker and he has given her comfort. Sincerely, DeAnna B.
