Obituary of James Gerard Stacey

JAMES G. "JIM" STACEY, age 49 of Jefferson passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday March 13, 2014. He was born on February 10, 1965 in Fort Atkinson, son of the late James and Joanne (Gnabasik) Stacey. Jim was employed with the Jefferson School District as the Custodian for West Elementary. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson. Jim was an avid NASCAR fan, and he enjoyed the outdoors gardening and lawn work. He will be deeply missed by his brothers; Michael Stacey of Jefferson, and Mark Stacey of Marquette MI. Other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson, with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and then again on Wednesday morning at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
