Obituary of Robert John Chady

ROBERT "Grandpa Choo-Choo" J. CHADY, age 64 of Deltona Florida formerly of Fort Atkinson and Jefferson, WI passed away on Sunday June 9, 2013 in Deland Florida. He was born on December 16, 1948 in Whitewater, Wisconsin, son of the late Edward and Doris (Hollinger) Chady. He married Gale M. Gourlie on October 14, 1989 in Jefferson. Robert was employed at Thomas Industries in Fort Atkinson, Hamlin Co. in Lake Mills, and Xyratex as an Accountant, before retiring in Deltona Florida. He was an avid train collector, and railroad enthusiast. He also enjoyed gardening, weather watching, motorcycles, watching University of Kentucky Basketball and Green Bay Packers with his beloved dog Casey. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Gale, of Deltona Florida, Sons; Robert (Wendy) Chady of Fort Atkinson, John (Julia) Chady of Fort Atkinson, Edward (Kathi) Chady of Janesville, Steve (Heather) Chady of Janesville, Step daughters; Nancy Leopold of Neenah, Teresa Manthe of Jefferson, Wendy Klug of Jefferson, Step son; Nick (Tammy) Manthe of Jefferson. 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, Sisters;Anne (Dennis) Monsour of Louisville KY, Susan (David) Person of Louisville KY. Brothers; Edward (Theresa) Chady of Bartlett TN Stephen (Mary Pat) Chady of Broomfield CO, William (Bettye) Chady of Louisville KY He is preceded in death by his parents, Brother Tom Chady, and Sister Mary Pat Pavai Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday June 14, 2013 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Bill Beyer officiating, burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
