So sorry for your loss of who must've been a wonderful Dad and Grandpa. It's Fathers Day and he left y'all quite a legacy. From what I've seen, the Chady boys help each other and love their families with big hearts. Prayers for you all. Ted or Todd or Ed, you continue to let me call you the wrong name. You have your heart in the right place. So glad y'all are our neighbors!

We have MANY memories of being neighbors in Ft. Atkinson. Bobby, John and our 2 boys were always up to something! Ted & Steve were babies that I watched a lot over the years. My favorite memory is watching the men & boys trying to assemble our tent - what a hoot! John's favorite memory is of the day Bob set fire to a hive of ground bees - boy, did he run!! Gale & Bob were gracious hosts when we visited in Florida too - thanks again! Bob is now at peace and know that you all are in our prayers & thoughts.

My condolences go out to Bob's family. He was a gentle man. I enjoyed our Packer-Viking talks and the time he and I spent ripping out the cubicles in the old office when we moved. I hope he experienced some peace at the end, or shall I say, the transition.

My condolences on Bob's passing. I used to see Bob on my frequent visits to the Xyratex office in Heathrow and he was always a friendly face and very helpful. I especially remember my chats with him about his interest in model railways and his advice about where I could go when I stayed a weekend - I would never have visited St Augustine without Bob's advice.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing - one of the nicest gentlemen I ever had the pleasure of working with. A great team player, though we were never too busy to talk trains! Rest in peace my friend. Our thoughts are with you Gale, and the entire Chady family at this time.

I learned of Bob's passing in the Louisville Courier Journal and just wanted to send my condolences. Unbelievably, I haven't been in touch with Bob in over forty years, but still remember the days we worked together at the Thomas Industries Headquarters in Louisville. We worked in the mail room together, along with a group of guys all still in college. This would have been in 1969-1970 timeframe. I also remember Bob's dad Ed, who worked in the accounting department "upstairs". He was a very nice man. The mail room was in the basement. We had some good times. I am so sorry for the family's loss.

I was fortunate to work with Bob for many years and became good friends during that time. Bob definitely wasn't afraid to tackle anything and forged ahead to get results. He was always thoughtful of our coworkers as well as my children and husband. He was so thrilled for Kyle to be a train enthusiast like him! He will be missed and our deepest sympathy is extended to his family and friends.

I was only 3 when your Dad started dating my sister, but I have two very vivid memories of him.
Once after a significant snowfall, we were all out in the backyard making a snowman. That thing ended up being so tall that your Dad had to get up on a ladder to put the head on!
I also remember him building an electric race car set in the basement. House full of girls but we had us a race car set!! and we loved it!
