My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I had the greatest opportunity to get to know and spend time with Karen when I came up and stayed with gramma as she took her journey from earth to Heaven. We were both grateful to learn that we were not only family, but sister's in Christ, which made us both be able to work together in creating a space for gramma to have Peace and Love as she journeyed to Heaven. Karen was there for gramma and me and made the time so much easier and helped provide gramma the opportunity to go the way she wanted to. Karen was related to me on both my mom and dad's side of the family, which she shared with me. I wish I could remember all the family that came, that Karen knew and would share with me who they were to me. When God's Light came for gramma and I shared with Karen how the Light came and she immediately walked into gramma's room and called me in to let me see that God had come and taken gramma home. Karen truly allowed God's Light to shine through her and I know the welcome party in Heaven is still going on. I pray for all of you that you will be able to experience Karen's love still with you even as you mourn the loss of her physically being here with you. Gramma always talked about how grampa was with her even after he passed. My sister's and I still experience mom with us and I pray that you all have the same experiences. I am thankful that we are all united with are loved ones eternally. I will never forget Karen and the time we spent together and always remember her being there for me in any way I needed her when gramma was passing. God Bless all of you and my prayers remain with you. Nancy Blunk

I've known Karen since Kyle T. was born, but really got to know her after her and Jim moved into the sam apt. building as my parents. She was one of the most caring grandmothers I've ever known. She did so much for her grandchildren. Every time I would see her i would give her a hug and tell her what a beautiful person I thought she was. it wasn't long ago she pulled into the parking lot and told my sister and I of her diagnoses of cancer, it just broke my heart1 She will be sadly missed, but will wear a huge crown in heaven! R.I.P. Karen! God Speed!
