Obituary of Joseph Herbert Pantely sr

JOSEPH H. PANTELY SR. "Joe the Barber" age 70 of Farmington passed away unexpectedly at Froedtert Medical Hospital in Milwaukee on May 15, 2012. He was born on October 16, 1941 in Milwaukee son of the late Peter and Lulu (Heniadis) Pantely. He married Emily Beck on April 4, 1959 at Brookfield. Joseph and his father owned and operated Pete & Son's Barber Shop in New Berlin from 1960 until 1986 when he opened his own barber shop in Jefferson. Joe semi retired from the shop in 1998 and the Jefferson Barber Shop is now run by his daughter and granddaughter. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek, and the Johnson Creek Lions Club. Joe loved the outdoors. He was a nature enthusiast, avid hiker. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Joe was a generous man, even after death as a multiple organ donor. He will be deeply missed by his wife Emily of Farmington. Daughters; Cherie (Randy) Trimborn of Johnson Creek, Carie Pieper and (friend Dave Valek) of Rock Springs. Son; Joseph Jr. (Jean) Pantely of Beaver Dam. Three Grandchildren; Tamra (Tom)Buglass, Reggie (fiancé Kim Frey) Trimborn, Corey Pieper Step grandson; Nick Kraemer (friend Heather) Two great-granddaughters; Taylor and Tori Buglass, Two step great granddaughters Hailey and Amelia Kraemer Sister; Vivian (Mike) Howard of Watertown, Brothers; Dr. George (Sharon) Pantely of Mount Hood Oregon William (Debbie) Pantely of Farmington, Sisters-in-law; Sandra (Ken) Blaedow, Ellen (Joe) Griswold, Brother-in-law; David Krahn Further survived by many nieces, nephews and many loyal customers and friends He is also preceded in death by his parents one sister-in-law; Jane Krahn Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday May 18th 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek with the Rev. Matthew Laubenstein-Smith officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In accordance with his wishes Joe will be cremated. Those wishing to send memorials may direct to the St. John's Lutheran Church or to Johnson Creek Fire Department/EMS Service.
