Obituary of Mary Luella Borst

Mary Luella Borst, 73, Jefferson JEFFERSON - Mary Luella "Mary Lou" Borst, 73, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at Alden Estates of Countryside. She was born on March 24, 1938, on a farm near Valley Falls, Kan., the daughter of Lewis William and Helen H. (Holly) Borst. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by her brother, Henry E. Borst, of Bellevue, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Little Flower Chapel at St. Coletta of Wisconsin, N4637 County Highway Y in Jefferson. Memorial services also were held in Salina, Kan., with inurnment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
