Obituary of E. David Clark
E. DAVID CLARK age 75 of Whitewater formerly of Johnson Creek passed away on May 24, 2011 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. He was born October 13, 1935 in Plantar Michigan, son of the late John R. and Hazel (Dalbec) Clark.
He married Kathlene Walker on January 5, 1963 in Waukegan Illinois. They moved to the farm in Johnson Creek in 1967 where they lived until moving to Whitewater in December 2003.
Dave was employed at Cooper Industries in Waukesha until his retirement in 1999. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He had been an active member of the Irish Setter Club of Milwaukee and West Allis Riders Harley Davidson Club. He and Kathy had run Clark's O'Lannon Kennel and were breeders and trainers of Irish Setters. The kennel had produced 2 field champions and numerous proven hunters. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Kathlene of Whitewater, Children Cynthia (Robert D.) Rupprecht of Jefferson, David D. (special friend Bobbi Jo) Clark of Whitewater and Yvonne (Daniel) Bucheger of Hartford. Four grandchildren Kelsey (special friend John) Clark, Brittany Clark, Benjamin Rupprecht, Daniel Rupprecht, and one great grandchild Zachary Clark. One brother Patrick (Janice) Clark of Wakefield Michigan, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by brothers Howard and Jack Clark and Sister Evelyn Gustafson
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 1, 2011 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Johnson Creek, with the Rev. Matthew Smith-Laubenstein officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and then again on Wednesday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
