Obituary of Carol Harriet Moldenhauer

CAROL H. MOLDENHAUER age 74 of Jefferson passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at her home. She was born on July 8, 1936 in Watertown, daughter of the late Everett and Katherine (Mason) Puerner. She married Marvin Moldenhauer on June 9, 1956 Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Brunner Hardware and was a homemaker. She most recently was a secretary at Jefferson County Farmco-Coop. She was a lifetime member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson and a member of the Eunice Society, and a past leader for the Lutheran Girl Pioneers for many years. She also volunteered at the St. John's School library. Carol was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed traveling, needle work, cross stitching, calligraphy and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Marv Moldenhauer of Jefferson Daughter; Susan (Larry) Wrobel of Stoddard, Wisconsin Son; Lee (Susan) Moldenhauer of Jefferson Seven grandchildren; Brian (Amy), Katherine and Hannah Wrobel Bret, Erin, Sara and Dustin Moldenhauer. One great grandson; Finn Wrobel Mother-in-law; Ella Moldenhauer of Watertown She is also preceded in death by her brother David H. Puerner Visitation will be held on Saturday May 14, 2011 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson beginning at 11:00a.m.-1:45p.m. followed by Services at 2:oo p.m. with the Rev. Mark O. Bartsch officiating, burial will follow at the Rock River Cemetery in Jefferson.
