Obituary of Marie Lenz Biederman

MARIE L. BIEDERMAN age 95 of Jefferson (formerly of Cambridge) passed away on January 31, 2011 at Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson. She was born on January 20, 1916 in Jefferson Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Neis) Lenz. She married Gerald Biederman on September 17, 1960 and lived in the Cambridge area, he preceded her in death in 1980. Marie attended St Lawrence Parochial School, Jefferson High School and Whitewater State Teachers College. Marie was employed as a teacher in the Jefferson and Madison Schools and at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater over 30 years. She was also employed as a legal secretary for the Freeberg-Danforth Law offices in Jefferson. She was a member of St. Pius the X Catholic Church in Cambridge. Marie is survived by two sisters Mildred Connelly of Jefferson, Sr. Joanette Lenz OSF of Milwaukee. One sister-in-law; Felice Lenz of Madison, and Helen Lenz of Madison. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by three sisters; Marion Ganser, Anita Vogel, Irma Daugs, Five brothers; William Lenz, Gilbert (Jessie) Lenz, Joseph Lenz, John (Jean) Lenz, Harold Lenz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 5, 2011 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating; Burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday at the church from 10:00a.m. Until the time of Mass.
