Obituary of Daniel Robin Peterson

DANIEL R. PETERSON age 53 of Jefferson passed away on January 9, 2011 following a auto accident at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born on July 29, 1957 in Mauston Wisconsin, son of Norman and Carol Ann (Davis) Peterson. He married Christy Macrafic on May 16, 1981 at Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. Dan was employed as the Director of Operations at Alloy Products in Waukesha. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycles, and was an active member of the National Rifle Association. He will be deeply missed by his wife Christy of Jefferson, his parents Norman and Carol Ann Peterson of Camp Douglas, his grandmother, Theresa Davis of Lodi; Daughter, Heather (David) Klemp of Watertown; son, Travis Peterson of Jefferson; Granddaughter, Madyson Klemp, Sisters, Heidi (Doug) Buan of Madison, Kari Beth Peterson of Camp Douglas; Brothers, Timothy Peterson, of Madison; Gregory (Joanne) Peterson of Waterloo; Christopher (Sue) Peterson of Waterloo. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, and maternal grandfather. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday January 14, 2011 at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Comstock officiating. Private family burial will take place on Saturday. Visitation for Dan will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson and then again on Friday morning at the church from 10:00 until the time of services.
