Obituary of Peter John Jurczyk

PETER J. JURCZYK age 86 of Helenville, passed away on Wednesday December 1, 2010 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc. He was born January 3, 1924 in Milwaukee, son of the late Frank and Julia (Klafka) Jurczyk. He married LaMae Ringwelski on June 7, 1947 in Milwaukee. Peter was a farmer his entire life, farming in the Milwaukee and Helenville areas. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Peter will be deeply missed by his wife; LaMae of Helenville, Daughters; Susan Sellnow of Janesville, Cheryl (Jim) Seeber of Johnson Creek, Diane (Scott) Sparks of Florida, Mary Jurczyk of Jefferson, Son Lyle (Terri) Jurczyk of Jefferson. 15 grandchildren; Dan, Craig, Joe Sellnow, Amanda Thiede, Samantha Sparks, Tom, Scott, David, James and Caitlin Jurczyk, Michael Calloway, Brittany Sutton, Chris, Nick, Matt Hall; 13 great grandchildren. One sister; Helen Jurczyk of Dousman, many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers; Ed, Frank and Ben Jurczyk. Sisters; Rose Wehr, Agnes Teska, Lucy Groth, Mary Jurczyk, Clara Jurczyk, Anne Jurczyk, and Sr. Gerardine Jurczyk. Infant son; Peter Jurczyk, Jr. Grandson; Tom Calloway. Infant Granddaughter; Rachel Jurczyk. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday December 6, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
