Obituary of Leroy Donald Loeder

Leroy Donald Loeder "Don", age 78 of Oxford Wisconsin, formally of Jefferson, WI passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, October 23rd, 2010. Don was born May 26th 1932 in the town of Aztalan, son of the late Fred and Beatrice (Corcoran) Loeder. Don served his country in the United States Navy as a Sea-Bee during the Korean War and was a life time member of the American Legion Post 164 in Jefferson, WI. He spent most of his working career in the home remodeling trade and later as a building inspector for many municipalities throughout WI. Survivors include his wife, Clara of Oxford His 5 children, Randy (Eileen) Loeder of Jefferson WI, Ronald Loeder of Raeford NC, Sherri (Terrence) Tellier of Oxford WI, Julie (Jeff) Frey of Johnson Creek WI, David Loeder of Johnson Creek WI. 4 step-children, Wendy Vollmer (Tommy) of Oklahoma City OK, Joe Vollmer of McAllister OK, Jeff (Jeanne) Vollmer of Mayville WI, and Teresa (Pete) Gottinger of Jefferson WI. 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren and 7 step-great-grand children. Also surviving Don are his two brothers Gene (Jean) Loeder of Hayward CA, And Robert Loeder of Seattle WA, two sisters, Betty Kutsche of Cambridge WI, And Marilyn Hughes of Beaver Dam WI, many other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his son, Duwayne Loeder, brother, Louie Loeder, two sisters, Jeanette Gates, and Carol Lindemann. A celebration of Don's life will be held Sunday, October 31st, 2010 from 1-3pm at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Mark O. Bartsch officiating, private family burial service with full military honors will follow.
