Cindy/family, I am very deeply sorry for your loss. I apologize that Tina and I could not show our respects, for we were out of town. One can not come close to understanding the "why", but know that he is in a good place and is watching over you all. If you need ANYTHING please know that we are here for you.....take care. I am so sorry to hear about Brian. I did not know Brian personally (Cindy was younger than me in high school, and I am a cousin to Kayla Wright's dad), but it is obvious that he truly was passionate about farming and serving the community, and such a devoted family man. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Though I did not know Brian well, he struck me as one of those people for whom there are no strangers...only friends yet unmet. I am grateful that our paths crossed....regrettably far too litle. At my last meeting, he shook my hand in parting and left with a great grin on his face. And that will be how I remember him.

I would like to extend my Deepest Sympathies to Brian's family. A farm family death is very hard as affects income and your way of life. May time soften the turmoil and good memories bring a smile to your hearts. I know his loss extends far beyond his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Cindy and the children and the family. I first met Brian while he was in Short Course. He has had great success with the cows and farm. And he has made a big positive influence in the Holstein industry for years. He will be sadly missed.

Dear Krull Family, It is truly saddening to hear of Brian's untimely passing. I first met Brian at Lake Mills Middle School. I was new to town at the time, and Brian was one of the first people I met. In High School we went to almost all the same Ag classes and numerous FFA functions. We sure had a lot of fun back in the day, great memories. I regret I have not seen Brian since LMHS Graduation Day back in 1984. I have spoke with several common friends over the years and heard Brian and family were doing really well. I know he will be deeply missed by all.

Hello to Mildred and All Family's are so very saddened to hear of Brian's Accident and Death. He was every farm parents dream of a son that wanted to carry on the work of his elders with love and respect of family and love of the land and cattle. He and Cindy worked so very hard together to reach the wonderful partnership in marriage and in farming life. He will be an inspiration to his children for the rest of their lives. We were expecting our children at the same time many years ago Mildred and it seems like only yesterday. You are in my prayers with everlasting love. God will be with you and your wonderful children and grandchildren and daughter-in-law Cindy. You are in our Prayer's Katie and Dan and Families Debbie and Glenn Fuller Tim and Tracy Johnston Jim Johnston and Matt Florick Mary and Tim Hallman

I'm having a real hard time wrapping my brain around the fact that
Brian has been taken from us. I can only hold onto the hope that God
has a plan, as hard as that may be to accept. If I may, I'd like to
pass along some observations of Brian that I have made while serving
with him, especially for the newer board members who may not have
gotten to know him. I didn't know Brian and Cindy at all prior
to being elected to the board. As President, he tended to keep
meeting flowing on course. He led with a quiet class, making sure
that everyone had their questions answered (usually me), and
everyone got their input. His work with the negotiations for Spring
Show was invaluable, as was his work at the Jefferson fairgrounds
when we had the State Sale there. He was very much a "get it done
guy". The thing I really admired Brian for, was his grabbing the
reins on the show ethics. Calling someone out for not abiding by the
rules is a VERY unpopular thing to do, but Brian would stick his
nose in there and say "you're out", and it was thus. I had a great
deal of respect for him to be able to do that. A couple funny
instances come to mind also. The time his cell phone went off during
a board meeting and his kids had put "I wanna be a rock star" on as
his ring tone. He got all red and it gave the rest of us a good
laugh. Or the time on our Dec. meeting barn tours at Don Mayer's
when he was introduced as Pres. and Cindy introduced herself as
First Lady. She was referred to as Hilarry for quite some time after
that. I told Brian after he retired from the Board how I
respected him as a leader, and a breeder and how much I and Kathy
had enjoyed getting to know he and Cindy. I'm really glad I did.
Thanks for letting me share. Bob Traynor
