I will always remember the fun days with you, especially the day that Terri and I had staying over night with our dad and having the best party at the hospital will never forget when he opened his eyes and winked at both of us I know in my heart he was saying good bye to us, but we were going to make the best out of it and have a little party with Terri ,I and our Dad .I was happy that I decided to stay the night with him to cherish that last wink and the toes wiggling and when he didn't like the questions he gave us he made a face like he was mad like he always did we told him my boys were going into his refrigerator to get food he better wake up and yell at them on his face he curled his mouth up like he always did when he got mad. We had so much fun that I really don't know how to tell you like Terri said you had to be there. I will always love you in my heart and soul. We will again laugh and talk again about those days .love ya dad.

The last day
by Terri McGeough
I will always remember spending the last night with my dad at the hospital. Patty and I were up all night and day with him telling him how he was going home. We were making it seem like he was right there with us joking around together. He was there in spirit, answering our questions by wiggling his toes, "you had to be there to believe it". But, in our hearts he was and he was telling us. I will never ever forget him.
I LOVE YOU DADDY- Say "Hi" to Grandma's, Grandpa's, Amanda, Regina, and Uncle Gil for me.

When I was about 7 or 8 years old I recall laying next to my grandfather on the couch watching of course one of his famous Westerns. Someone had been shot and was dying. I said to my grandfather, "Grandpa whats wrong with that man?" He replied, "He's dying Hon" I questioned him on how people die and why they die and so on....Then the big question came,"Are you going to die Grandpa?" Of course he said, "yes honey everyone has to go at one time or another. Tears started to fall down my face. "Don't cry, when I die hopefully you'll be all grown up, married and have a baby or two." I cried really hard for a few minutes telling him how much I loved him and didn't want him to die. Then he told me,"I will always be with you, just not here with you. You know I love you, I'll always love you Hon." He gave me a Big kiss and held me real tight. So yes I am all grown up, married and have not just one or two babies but, four children. My grandfather was an amazing man I will never forget him, I will remind my child of him always. And when the question is thrown my way I will reply with HONESTY and LOVE just how grandpa did.

I never had the chance to meet Bob but I did get to know 2 of his daughters, Karen and Patty, quite well and if knowing them is any indication of the man Bob was then I'm sorry I never did get to meet him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in their time of loss and healing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. It is so hard to lose someone that is so close to you. Someone that made you smile when you were down and out and would lift you up when you were down and needed a helping hand. We will all miss him, but I will always remember the times that we spent together and look back and cherish those times and keep remembering he is up above waiting for us to join him when it is our time and that we will be able to visit again in a peaceful place. Love you all, Sam and Sue Meeker and family
