Obituary of Marie Olive Klossner

MARIE O. KLOSSNER Age: 90 of Lake Mills, WI, Passed away Sunday January 3, 2010 at Watertown Regional Medical Center. She was born December 10, 1919 in Jefferson, daughter of the late John and Ottilla (Schiferl) Schicker. She married Frederick "Fritz" Klossner on December 29, 1938 in Jefferson; he preceded her in death in February of 1986. She was employed at Moe Lighting in Fort Atkinson, and at Copeland Ryder Shoe Factory in Jefferson. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Marie enjoyed crocheting, and needlepoint, and was an avid card player. She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul for many years. She is survived by five daughters; Patricia (Eugene) Kramer of Watertown Kathleen (Marty) Braunschweig of Jefferson, Mary Jeske of Winston Salem, NC Judith (John) Kylmanen of Jefferson, Janice (Kenneth) Wegner of Jefferson. 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister; Marion (Ralph) Wedl of Jefferson, sister-in-law; Carol Schicker of Jefferson. she is preceded in death by her son James, and brothers Raymond, and Robert. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 7, 2009; 12:00 noon, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home Jefferson is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorial be given in Maries memory to; Tomorrow's Hope, or Brook Gardens Assisted Living in Lake Mills, or to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Jefferson. The family would like to thank the staff at Brook Garden Assisted Living in Lake Mills for the wonderful, loving care they have given their mother over the past years.
