Obituary of Dolores J Bankert

DOLORES J. BANKERT age 91 of Fort Atkinson passed away June 15, 2016 at the Jefferson Memory Care in Jefferson. She was born on November 13, 1924. She married Marvin J. Bankert on June 22, 1968; he preceded her in death on September 3, 1979. She was a long time devoted friend of Harley Hoene of Fort Atkinson; he preceded her in death on February 25, 2012. Dolores enjoyed reading, and playing cards. She and Harley had a large garden at the home of Harley's son Darrel; together they enjoyed taking care of it and raising a variety of vegetables. She leaves behind her sister Barbara Hamann of San Francisco, CA, and her "adopted family" Darrel Hoene of Fort Atkinson, and his daughters. Cristine (Jamie) Schnitger, Traci Hoene, and their children; Kassidy and Britany Schnitger. Memorial services and burial will be scheduled for a later date.
