Obituary of Duane Charmaine Brunette

DUANE C. "DEE" BRUNETTE, 78 of Jefferson passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. She was born on July 15, 1937 in Newberry, MI, the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Lahey) Anderson. She married Norman L Brunette on July 1, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1997. Dee was employed at Generac Inc. for many years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson, the Ladies Aid, and was a greeter at the church. She greatly enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Center, and Twice as Nice in Jefferson. She will be deeply missed by her family; daughter Renee (Gary) Bleecker of Jefferson; grandchildren Joshua (Jena) Bleecker of Madison, and Nicole Bleecker (special friend Adam Herbst) of Wauwatosa; her sister Rosalie Petrouske of Grand Ledge, MI. Visitation will be at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 4:00-5:30p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 5:30 p.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date, in the Hoffman cemetery in Rome. Mom/grandma was the happiest when spending time with her family. While she will be greatly missed, the family's prayers were answered when God decided to take this angel without her enduring prolonged suffering here on earth. We love you mom/grandma, and so look forward to the time we can again share a glass of wine together on the patio.
