Monday Jan 11, 2015 Dear Don, Steve, Sue, Larry and family, We just arrived in CA to visit our family. We received a phone call from Lois sharing the news of your dear wife and mother’s death. We grieve and yet rejoice with you! We grieve over your loss and rejoice that Nadeane is at peace in the arms of Jesus in Heaven. Nadeane was a very special person and role model in my life and an older cousin that I so admired. She was one of the first I knew who went off to Valpo University, and then off to Jefferson to teach! I recall the day of your wedding and the awe we all had for our beautiful cousin, her “Don” and then a “neat couple”. Don and Nadeane were always a bubbly couple with joy in their hearts, a smile on their faces, and positive attitudes bringing contagious laughter to all. At times like this, it is hard to comprehend the fact that your loved one is gone and the change that makes in the family and our lives. What a blessing to be able to look back, recall the good family times, thank God for your Wife, Mother, and Grandmother and your strong family Christian heritage. Just as Nadeane positively looked ahead in her walk with Jesus, you too can step out each new day with Jesus by your side. She sinned like we all do, but she knew Jesus died for her sins. Remember Jesus loves you so much. He desires a close relationship with you. We pray that you will continue to allow Jesus to have first place your heart, so that when you and I take our last breath, we will all be in Heaven together to spend an eternity with our God! Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life!” John 14:6 Lee and I treasured the special times that we were able to connect with you Don and Nadeane, in Palm Springs (many years ago) in Jefferson, in Phoenix, and at many Miller family events. I am so thankful that I made the trip from Michigan just to go with my sister Lois, Aunt Alyce, and Myrt to Jefferson in June, 2013. What a wonderful fun day with you, Nadeane, Terry and spouses. Even now, God is still faithful and is with you. Death is part of life and yet as we place our trust in Jesus our Lord and Savior, death is only the end of this short earthly life and the beginning of a whole eternity in Heaven. Love to you Don and all the family, Lee and Phyllis Zabrocki 6647 Windflower Way Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 343-2689
