Obituary of Aaron Joseph Endl
AARON J. ENDL age 86, Jefferson passed away Friday December 11, 2015 at Sunset Ridge Memory Care in Jefferson. He was born in Farmington, on March 19, 1929 to Leo and Clara (Dremler) Endl.
He married Audrey Smith later divorcing, and then he married Lila Roloff on April 22, 1967. Lila preceded him in death on June 8, 2004.
Aaron served in the United States Airforce for 30 years, he was proud to say he was a 3 time War Veteran, WWII, Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
Following his retirement from the military he worked for the Chicago Northwestern Rail Road for 25 years. He was a member of the Endl-Gruennert VFW Post 3589 of Jefferson and the Schlesner-Burri American Legion Post 305 of Johnson Creek, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
He will be deeply missed by his family: daughters Donna (James) Evans of California,
Tina (Mark) Scott of Alabama, Brenda (Curtis) Atwood of California,
Dawn (Roger) Ganser of Jefferson. Sons: David Endl of California.
Step daughters: Cynthia (Scott) Howard of Jefferson, Joyce Johnson of Jefferson.
Step sons: Roy (Sue) Johnson of Jefferson, Steve (Charleen) Johnson of Helenville, Chris Johnson of Fort Atkinson. Many grandchildren and many great grandchildren
Sister Norma Sainsbury of Madison and Brother Elyden "Scrub" (Elaine) Endl of MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lila, step son Mark Johnson, grandsons Jeremy Schaffer, Alan Johnson, and 2 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday December 17, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating burial with full Military Honors will follow in the Rock River cemetery in Jefferson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and then again on Thursday morning at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
Memorials may be given in Aaron's name to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or to Tomorrow's Hope, of the VFW Post 3589 of Jefferson.
