Obituary of Catherine Euphersine Klug

CATHERINE E. KLUG, age 88, of Jefferson passed away Friday November 27, 2015 at Sylvan Crossings in Jefferson. She was born on February 21, 1927 in Jefferson, daughter of the late Joseph and Olivia (Endl) Koser. She married Howard William Klug Sr. on September 4, 1946; he preceded her in death on May 30, 1985. Catherine had been employed at the Copeland Ryder Shoe factory, and the Schweiger Industries in Jefferson. She was a serious card player, and an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Catherine was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parishes. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Michael) Deems of Janesville, 4 Grandchildren Matthew (Jennifer) Tinberg, Stephanie (Sean) Mawhinney, Adahmarie (Peoung) Chhum, and Michael Klug, and 10 great grandchildren. Brother and sister in law Albert (Ardes) Klug of Jefferson, many other relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by her son Howard William Klug Jr., Sister Marion Hale. Visitation will be held at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday December 4, 2015, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in spring of 2016.
