Obituary of Vesta Mary Biwer

VESTA M. BIWER, 85 of Johnson Creek passed away Monday September 7, 2015 at Watertown Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 4, 1930 in Trenton, New Jersey , daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Fleming Petersen Sr. She married Robert Biwer on June 9, 1951 at the St. Lawrence Rectory; He preceded her in death on October 18, 2011. Vesta had been employed at the J.C Penny store in Fort Atkinson for 37 years, retiring in 1987. She also volunteered at the Countryside Nursing home, St. Vincent de Paul. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women. She will be deeply missed by her family, Son Edward Biwer of Johnson Creek, Sister Nancy Wurtzler of Adams-Friendship, sister-in-law Donna Petersen of Jefferson and her dear friend John Will of Lake Mills. She is further preceded in death by her daughter Shari Biwer, Brother Albert Petersen Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday September 11th at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will be at 10:00 a..m. on Friday September 18, 2015 in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the Church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
