Obituary of Janet Louise Schell

JANET L. SCHELL, 58, of Jefferson passed away Friday August 14, 2015 at her home in Jefferson. She was born on November 5, 1956 in Decorah, Iowa, daughter of the late H. Donald and Florabelle (Ungs) Schell. The St. Coletta Community was Janet's home since 1978. After attending the St. Coletta habilitation program, she had various jobs there until her retirement. She enjoyed vacations with her parents, bowling, singing in the NOVA choir, and going for pizza. She is survived by her brothers, John (Liz) Schell of ArlingtonVA, James (Judy) Schell of Decorah IA, and Joseph (Carrie) Schell of Ellicott City MD; her nephews and her many friends at St. Coletta. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday August 20, 2015 at the Chapel of the Flowers at Alverno.
