Obituary of Eleanore Lorraine Lubbert

ELEANORE "ELLIE" L. LUBBERT age 72 of Fort Atkinson, passed away at her home surrounded by what mattered to her most, family and friends, Friday August 14, 2015. She was born on August 20, 1942 in Milwaukee daughter of the late George and Lorraine (Mihm) Wanker. Ellie was known for her courage, her gorgeous smile and her warm spirit. She loved to travel and when MS inhibited that she lived through everyone else's pictures and stories. She was the ultimate listener. We were so blessed to have her as our sounding board, someone who was somehow always in our corner no matter what. For a woman with limitations, she believed anything was possible and encouraged us all to believe in our dreams and make them a reality. Ellie will be deeply missed by her family; Daughters Linda Liverman of IN, Loriann Lubbert of Oconomowoc, Lisa (Jim Bound) of Fort Atkinson. Son Dennis (Cindy) Lubbert of Oak Creek. 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her only sister Jan Knurr of Janesville. Preceded in death by great granddaughter Kennedy who we know she is loving being able to finally hold. Special thanks to Shelly, Ashley, Tammy, Kirsten & Kim who treated her with dignity and provided her with such wonderful care she was able to live her life out at home just as she wanted. Per her wishes, no services will be held. She hoped we all would be a little more generous with our time, with our patience, with our understanding, and with our love. Take nothing for granted…she never did. Visit www.schneidermichaelisfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence or light a candle in her memory.
