Obituary of Ronald George Darner
RONALD G. DARNER 73, of Fort Atkinson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday September 3, 2014. He was born on April 18, 1941 in Dayton Ohio, son of the late George and Lutzie (Breitenstein) Darner.
He married Mary Anne Klabe on December 28, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio.
Ron was employed as a Mechanical Engineer most recently for Mortara Instrument in Milwaukee, retiring in 2011.
He was a very active member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, and loved cars, hand tools, and woodworking, and enjoyed attending swap meets.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his family:
Wife; Mary Anne Darner of Fort Atkinson,
Daughter; Andrea (Jeffrey) Peterson of Madison,
Sons; Steve (Angela Feliz) Darner of Brookfield, Tony Darner of Lake Mills,
Grandchildren; William and Katie Peterson,
Mike (Amanda Herrick) Hidalgo of Janesville
Melissa (Mark Johnson) Hidalgo of Saukville, Miranda Laska of Cudahy
Great grandchildren; Adalynn, Anthony
Sister; Evelyn (Phil) Petry of Old Fields, West Virginia, Brother; Larry (Sue) Darner of Kettering, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday September 8, 2014 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson.
