Obituary of Lucille Ann Mowery

LUCILLE A. "LUCY" (PINNOW) MOWERY 51 of Fort Atkinson passed away Tuesday March 25, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 29, 1962 in Fort Atkinson. She was the daughter of William and Alice (Cusick) Pinnow. Lucy graduated from Jefferson High School in 1980. She married Terrance Mowery in September of 1989; he preceded her in death in October of 2009. She worked for Frank's County Market and was the head of catering at the Rivers Edge Market until December of 2013. Lucy personified the definition of independence. She raised three strong daughters and worked harder than anyone to support her family. She loved spending free days with her daughters, often times visiting the zoo, especially the giraffes. Fondest memories were annual trips with her daughters through parts of Wisconsin including Wisconsin Dells, Poynette (Big Jake at Smokey Hollow Farms) and numerous campgrounds. Lucy always loved the annual fall campout at her parents' house which brought the entire Pinnow family together for laughs over the campfire, games of midnight, s'mores and enough food to feed the Packers, her favorite team. Lucy's passion for developing personal connections was evident with the many lives she touched over the years while working at River's Edge. Lucy will be deeply missed by her 3 daughters: Brianna Mowery of Hawaii, Hannah (Jacob Woods) Mowery of Madison, Chasta Mowery of Fort Atkinson Her parents: William and Alice (Cusick) Pinnow of Johnson Creek, Five Brothers: Wayne (Barb) Pinnow of Edgerton, Tom R. Pinnow of Fort Atkinson Bob (Tracy) Pinnow of Jefferson, Bill (Jen) Pinnow of Jefferson, Matt (Hulon Yancey) Pinnow of Georgia. Sister: Gail (Michael) Kenny of Arizona. Brothers-in-law: Scott (Tina) Mowery of Stoughton, Dennis (Sandy) Mowery of Arizona Aunts: Virgene (John) Lawson of Sullivan, Bev Huebel of Cambridge Uncles: Thomas C. (Diane) Pinnow of Jefferson, Francis (Lois) Cusick of Coloma Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, and Ted Wardlow of Utah. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: William and Violet (Eck) Pinnow, Maternal Grandparents: Elmer and Laura (Schraeder) Cusick, Uncles: William (Kenlyn) Cusick, Edward Cusick and several cousins. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 1, 2014, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with Pastor Mark Lenz officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday evening March 31, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home, and then again on Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of services.
