Obituary of June Margaret Miller-Tietz

JUNE M. MILLER-TIETZ age 82 of Jefferson passed away on January 6, 2014 at Alden Estates. She was born on January 26, 1931 in Helenville daughter of the late Paul and Lavine (Riess) Burkert. She was married to Bernhardt Miller and he preceded her in death in 1972, She then married Reinhardt Tietz and he preceded her in death in 1991. June had been employed at the Copeland Ryder Shoe factory, and at Schweiger Industries, and at Watertown Metals. She also had worked for St. Coletta of Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Jefferson and volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved her dog Abby. She will be deeply missed by her children, daughter; Linda (Michael) Gericke of Jefferson, Son; Richard Miller of Milton, five grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Daughter-in-law; Sharon Miller. Her twin sister; Jean (Harvey) Dooge of Jefferson. She is also preceded in death by one son; Randy Miller, and her sister Janet Burkert.
