Obituary of Anita Marie Rieck

ANITA M. RIECK, 76 of Jefferson, passed away on January 5, 2014 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.. She was born on March 1, 1937 in the Town of Merton, daughter of the late Edmond and Frieda (Giese) Luedtke. She married Ronald Rieck on January 28, 1956 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson. Anita was employed at Thomas Industries in Fort Atkinson for 25 years and Doskocil Foods for 15 years. She also worked at St. Coletta of Wisconsin taking care of Rosemary Kennedy. She is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson, the Ladies Aid, Reinhardt-Windl Post 164 American Legion Auxiliary of which she was the President for 12 years. She was also a member and avid bowler of the 600 club. She will be deeply missed by her husband Ronald Rieck of Jefferson Daughters; Karen (Gary) Sickels of Jefferson, Sharon (Ruben) Guerra of Jefferson. Grandchildren; Trisha (Rod Canfield) Lund, Frankie Guerra, and one great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Sister; Lenora, Brothers; Clarence, Harry, Orrin, Ed and Claron. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday January 10, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Mark O. Bartsch officiating, burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
