HAZEL A. BRAATZ, age 100 of Jefferson passed away December 21, 2013 at Alden Estates. She was born on April 2, 1913 in Oakland Township, daughter of the late August and Johanna (Kreiderman) Lemke. She married Harold Braatz on July 21, 1942; he preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by her son; Lee (Toni) Braatz of Lake Mills, grandchildren; Lori (William) Singer, Brenda (Chad) Wesa, Tricia (William) Werning, Ginger (John) Witzlib, Kristi Adam, Michael (Maura) Braatz, Nikki (Adam) Lawson, Nicholas Braatz; 18 great-grandchildren; Grace, Madeline, Michael, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Lucius, Nadia, Korbyn, Kelsey, Kaden, Karsen, Hannah, Sophie, Bella, Greg, Ethan, Kaylee, and Jace. One sister; Joyce Tindell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, Sons; Donald and Robert, Sisters Christine, Leona, Ladoris, Brother; Walter, Harlan, Rueben, Eugene As per Hazel's wishes there will be private family services at a later date.
