Obituary of William Carl Mathisen

WILLIAM C. "BILLY" MATHISEN, age 73 of Jefferson, passed away on Friday November 15, 2013 at his home. Billy moved to the St. Coletta School in 1955 when he was 15 years old. Billy will be missed dearly by his family at St. Coletta, especially his long-time friend and roommate, Frankie. He will also be missed by his beloved nephews and cousins. Billy was a person of great faith and he was full of life especially enjoying rides and outings with his friends, baseball, arts and crafts and occasionally was known to head out with a few friends to "St. Coletta's West" (a.k.a. Kemmeter's). He spent most of his vocational time working in the St. Coletta pig barn but also helped out in the laundry, chicken barn, grounds crew, Affirmative Industries and later attending Paragon and Golden Options. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21 at the Little Flower Chapel at St. Coletta of Wisconsin. 2:00 p.m. Visitation 2:30 p.m. Time of Remembrance with Funeral to follow His cremains will be buried at a later date in Stanton, Michigan next to his parents.
