Obituary of Richard Franke Duvall
RICHARD F. DUVALL "DUBS" age 65 of Marinette, formerly of Jefferson passed away on March 2, 2013 at Rennes East in Peshtigo.
He was born on January 16, 1948 in Watertown son of the late Kurt and Georgiann (Franke) Duvall. He married Katherine Martinson on August 14, 1971 at St. Henry's Church Watertown, WI.
He graduated from Watertown High School in 1967 and the Moraine Park Technical College with his degree in Police Science. He had been employed at U.S. Chemical and was the Chief of Police in Johnson Creek for 14 years prior to joining the Jefferson Police Department, and also was a part-time Deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson, Masonic Lodge #9 in Jefferson, and the Wisconsin Police Association.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Kathy of Marinette.
Daughter; Colleen (Wade) Wozniak of Aurora, IL,
Son; Brandon (Missy) Duvall of Fort Atkinson.
Grandsons; Justin Wozniak, Dylan Wozniak and Blayke Duvall.
Granddaughters; Emily Wozniak and Becca Brown.
Brothers; Nick (Ann) Duvall of New Jersey, Doug (Esther) Duvall of Georgia
Sister; Connie (Steve) Wilson of Georgia.
A gathering to celebrate Dubs' life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday March 16, 2013 at the Masonic Lodge 606 Mason Blvd. Jefferson, WI 53549.
Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home Jefferson is assisting the family with arrangements.
