Obituary of John Charles Jungbluth

JOHN C. JUNGBLUTH resident of Jefferson, former resident of Watertown and Hartland, passed away peacefully January 16th, 2013 at the age of 84 years. He was born on January 18, 1928 to parents John and Irene Jungbluth. He attended Swallow School when it was a one room school house and worked alongside family members for over 40 years on their dairy farm in Hartland. John married Mary Germiat on June 29, 1968, and loved to give her gifts, most memorably, chocolates. He was a devoted husband and loving father of four. John was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Hartland and St. Henry's Catholic Church in Watertown. John belonged to many service organizations such as the Elks, St. Charles Usher Society and the Knights of Columbus. He served each community he lived in, volunteering and donating time and funds to help others. He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary of Juneau, Daughters Marie (Brian) Jankowski of Franklin and Michelle (Daniel) Davis of Madison, Sons Jon (Catherine) Jungbluth of Topsham, England and Christopher (Sarah) Jungbluth of Madison, grandchildren Petra, Bergen, Hannah, Emily, Aidan Jungbluth and Sophia Jankowski. Further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by Brother George Jungbluth of Hartland. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, January 22nd with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, WI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:30 until the time of services. Final rest will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Hartland, WI.
