Obituary of John Kuivinen

JOHN KUIVINEN age 63 of Jefferson, passed away Wednesday October 17, 2012 at his home. He was born January 9, 1949 in Flint Michigan son of the late John and Ruth (Rudrud) Kuivinen. John has been a member of the St. Coletta family for 56 years. He loved his family and friends. His smile could light up a room and make you feel like you have seen pure joy. He loved the Packers, "Action Movies", dogs, the Wisconsin Badgers and lunch at McDonalds. He had a beautiful work ethic and retired many times. He will be deeply missed by his family; Brother; Judd (Amy Gheres) Kuivinen of Toledo, Ohio, Mary (Stephen) Zellmer of Fall Creek, Wisconsin, Elizabeth Kuivinen of White Bear Lake Minnesota. Nieces and Nephews; Alex Haberlie of DeKalb, Iowa, Katie Haberlie and Jamie Haberlie of Platteville, Wisconsin, Jesse (Brittany) Zellmer of Green Bay, and a grand niece Kendall Zellmer. Cousins; Karen and Rich Holtz, Charlu Mahlke, Eric Mahlke, Sue Graham. Many friends and his St. Coletta family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joan Haberlie. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday October 25, 2012 at the Alverno Chapel of the Flowers with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. with the Time of Remembrance at 2:30p.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial.
