Obituary of James Herbert Brantmeier

James H. Brantmeier of Stockbridge, WI, age 71, passed away on Sunday October 14, 2012 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison. He was born on September 8, 1941 to the late Ardyce Luedeke-Brantmeier and Herbert Brantmeier. Jim graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1959 and served in the National Guard until 1963. He enjoyed working on the family farm. He was the last of the hermits and followed a chosen path. Jim was never afraid to be himself. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mostly, sturgeon spearing. May Jim be at peace with God; He has five surviving children: Alisa M. (Mike) Herrick, Algoma, WI; Bennett J. Brantmeier, Jefferson, WI; Cindy A. Brantmeier (Aaron Prabhakar), St. Louis, MO; Daniel G. (Kris) Brantmeier, Sherwood, WI; Edward J. (Noorie) Brantmeier, Penn Laird, VA. Grandchildren include Amanda and Jesse Herrick, Archer Brantmeier, Anjali and Gavin Brantmeier Prabhakar, Blake and Alec Brantmeier, and Noah, Ian and Baby (Estes) Brantmeier. Sisters; Janet (Eugene) Totzke of Hilbert, Joelene (Joe) Luniak of Menasha, Jeanie (Gary) Thiel of Sherwood, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
