Obituary of Donna Marie Weltzin

DONNA MARIE WELTZIN age 86, of Jefferson, WI, formerly of South Bend, IN passed away September 8, 2012 following a brief illness. She was born on July 23, 1926 in Michigan City, Indiana, daughter of the late Charles Laten Rhinehart and Elizabeth Jane (Irvin) Rhinehart. She married Robert V. Weltzin on March 24, 1946; he preceded her in death on June 30, 1971. In her early years Donna was an Acrobatic Dancer for the Ringling Brothers Circus. She was also employed at the First National Bank in Rochester, Indiana, as a teller, from 1954-1974. She is survived by her son Steven Weltzin of Harmony, Indiana; five grandchildren; Valerie Combs of Brazil, IN, Troy Weltzin (Bridget) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Chad Weltzin (Sally) of Aspen, Colorado, Casey Weltzin (Elizabeth) of Austin, Texas, Angela (Joe) Smith of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin; two great grandchildren; Jarett Combs and Adrienne Combs; one sister Alma (Robert) Hubeny of Kewanna, Indiana; and one brother James Rhinehart of Wilmington Ohio; as well as a special niece and nephew Brenda (Mike) Wiese of Grass Creek, IN and Timothy Blackburn of California and several extended family members. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Randy Weltzin; five sisters; Barbara Sommers, Olive Belle Kilander, Miriam Blackburn, Eldora Cook, Laura Owen, as well as three brothers; Owen, Irven, and Morley Rhinehart. Graveside Services will be held at Citizen's Cemetery, Rochester, IN. French Funeral Home, Brazil, IN, has been entrusted with her care.
