Obituary of Edna Lea Green

E. LEA GREEN age 52 of Albany passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday August 2, 2012. She was born on July 15, 1960 in Ashland Kentucky, daughter of the late William and Della (Thompson) Green. Every once in awhile God blesses us with a gift; an extraordinary person with the miraculous ability to make those around her feel important, special and loved. Lea was the most selfless person I have ever known. She opened her heart and home without reservation or praise, and never asked for anything in returned. Lea could make your darkness moments vanish with her smile or the sound of her encouraging voice. When she loved, she loved with every bit of herself, and her love was true, pure and forever. She will be deeply missed by her sons; Pancho Alviar of Madison Cody Green of Madison, and Dante Green of Albany, her fiancée James Swanson of Albany. 5 sisters; Cissy Haney of Jefferson, Linda (Jonny) Cooper of South Shore Kentucky, Susan (Henry) Haney of Lake Mills, Teresa Seymour of Jefferson, Debbie Green of Fort Atkinson. 4 Brothers; Clyde (Nancy) Green of Watertown, James (Susie) Green of Johnson Creek, Larry (Sharry) Green of Jefferson, Dee Green of Jefferson, Many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She is also preceded in death by one brother Robert Green. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday August 11, 2012 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson. Visitation will be on Saturday the 11th at the funeral home from 10:00a.m. until the time of services, burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
