I grew up with my father always taking me Deaf Camping every year, and "Chief" was always there. He would tease me alllll the time! Admittedly it frustrates me, but I quickly learned how to respond back. Boy we were trouble teasers! I'd always say "Behave!" and he'd say "Me? Naaaahh I am always an angel!"

I returned from vacation and heard of Chief's passing. You have my very deapest sympathy on losing such a great man. I worked with him at Nestle and he always made you feel special. He truly loved you with all his heart-every time he talked about you, you could see his love bubble over for you. And his kids and grandkids-how excited he always was about them. God certainly got a great Chief by taking him so soon. I retired in January and I know he was looking forward to it in a little over a year. My heart aches for the loss of this truly wonderful man. My prayers are with all of you. Anyone who had contact with him through the years was touched in some way by Chief.

I remember all those years of Labor Day Camping that my dad would take me to, and he would always tease me and say "hey pretty lady!" and being young I used to say "Eww! Gross!" Because hed gross me out. Throughout the years we would poke fun at each other, but I was always happy to see him, a happy funny man.
