Obituary of Grace A Aumann
GRACE A. AUMANN, age 94, of Jefferson passed away Saturday February 4, 2012 at Alden Estates of Countryside. She was born on March 22, 1917 on the family farm North of Jefferson in the Town of Farmington, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Weisemann) Schakelman.
She married Aaron R. Aumann on June 3, 1937; he preceded her in death on January 30, 1980.
Grace was a member of St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church in Jefferson. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and spending time with her family. she also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and various church organizations.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter; Donna Aumann of Cape Coral, Florida,
Sons; William (Joanne) Aumann of Hartford, and Tom (Lois) Aumann of Shawano.
6 grandchildren; Amy (Steve) Balzer of Madison, Ann (Mark) Kubisiak of Minocqua, Peter (special friend Melanie Bell) of Milwaukee, Alison (Chad) Kohel of River Falls, Jonathan (Sheila) Aumann of Madison, Steven (Heidi) Aumann of Green Bay.
11 great grandchildren; Taylor Balzer, Ava Balzer, Katie Kubisiak, Aaron Kubisiak, Emily Kubisiak, Seth Kohel, Gavin Kohel, Lyla Kohel, Julia Reisinger-Aumann, Mia Aumann, Bennett Aumann
Sister; Jane (Robert) Lehmann of Jefferson, Brother; Francis (Marion) Schakelman of Jefferson
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters; Lucille Schakelman, Margaret Strode, Ruth Schuld.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday February 7th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
