Obituary of Lodean Jean Oestreich

LODEAN J. OESTREICH, 66 of Jefferson passed away on Friday February 3, 2012 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek. She was born n July 11, 1945 in Watertown Wisconsin, daughter of the late Rudolph and Nellie (Longstreet) Pitterle. She married Keith R. Oestreich on June 11, 1966 at the home of Keith's' parents in the Town of Aztalan. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2009. Lodean was employed as a Key Punch Operator for Schweiger Industries in Jefferson and Crepaco in Lake Mills. She was also the Farm Manager and Bookkeeper for the Oestreich Farms in the Town of Aztalan. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Jefferson and the Mary Magdalene Women's circle. She was also a member of the Tyranena Woman's Group, and the Living Waters, and a member of the writing club. She enjoyed volunteering at the Jefferson Food Pantry, and many Church functions. She will be deeply missed by her son; Charlie (Yvonne) Oestreich and her grandchildren; Steven and Anna all of Jefferson. One sister; Bethene Pitterle of Jefferson, and one brother; Peter Pitterle of Illinois. And her dear friend on over 40 years; Jeannette Pranke of Jefferson Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 10, 2012 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Comstock officiating, burial will follow in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home in Jefferson and then again on Friday morning at the church from 10:00a.m. until the time of services.
