Obituary of Kenneth Clifford Hagedorn

KENNETH C. HAGEDORN, 86, of Jefferson passed away Monday December 26, 2011 at Sylvan Crossings in Jefferson. He was born on April 13, 1925 at the family home in the town of Farmington. Son of the late Clifford T. and Laura R. (Keeser) Hagedorn. He married Mary P. Crossman in 1963. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1943, and served in the United States Army 1943-1947 during WWII, in the European Theater. Ken was self employed and owned the Kenneth Hagedorn Builders served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for many years in Johnson Creek. He also taught stained glass at MATC in Fort Atkinson, Watertown and Madison. After retiring from building, Ken and his wife enjoyed making and selling wooden crafts at shows all over WI, IL, IA and MN. He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary of Jefferson; Children; Susan (Ronald) Heitz of Waukesha, Lisa (Greg) Weggeman of Sheboygan, Haley (Gary) Wulf of Jefferson, Kenneth "K.C." Hagedorn of Johnson Creek, Barbara (LaVerne) Woolever of Johnson Creek, Robert J. Crossman of Minneapolis MN 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandsons, other relatives and friends. Services will be private.
