Obituary of Ervin William Pick

ERVIN W. PICK age 82 of Jefferson passed away on November 12, 2011 at Sylvan Crossing. He was born on June 26, 1929 in Milwaukee, son of the late Ervin A. and Anna (Braun) Pick. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Ervin married Alice M. Peacock on March 1, 1952 in Jefferson; she preceded him in death on May 7, 2011. He was employed at the Stoppenbach Company in Jefferson for 44 years retiring in 1991. Ervin was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and boating. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Ervin will be deeply missed by his children; Daughters; Mary Jane Tagliasacchi of New York, Sherry (Randy Kabat) Stackle of Fort Atkinson, Son; Will (Wendy) Pick of Browntown, WI. Grandchildren; Shanna Stackle, Michael Stackle, Christopher Stackle, Amber (Andrew) Miller, Christina Tagliasacchi. One Brother; James (Carol) Pick of Fort Atkinson. He is also preceded in death by one sister Betty Punzel, and one brother; Donald Pick. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family suggests memorials be directed to Jefferson Rainbow Hospice or the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
