Obituary of Janet P Voeltz

Janet P. Voeltz, 94, of Jefferson passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

Janet was born on March 3, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI to Reinhold and Norma (Schaefer) Pinke.

She graduated from Lake Mills High School.  She married Richard E. Voeltz on September 8, 1951.  He preceded her in death on June 28, 2018.

Janet showed horses all her life and was a member of “Hosta-holics,” a group dedicated to raising hostas.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lee Voeltz-Cutbirth of Collinsville, TX, and son, Donald (Shari) Voeltz of Jefferson; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reinhold and Norma Pinke; husband, Richard Voeltz; and sister, Ruth Hatch.
