Obituary of Lyn F. Adkins

LYN ADKINS,  87 of Jefferson, WI passed away on November 21, 2023 at Alden Estates.

 

 Lyn was born on August 21, 1936 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Selma and Charles Nelson. On August 9,1952 she married Dale Adkins.  The couple had three children, Michael, Koni and Scott and enjoyed 52 years of marriage until his death in 2005.  She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed bowling and making the occasional trip to Lake Tahoe.  In 1976, the family moved to Wisconsin where she enjoyed selling Avon, watching the GB Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and trying to get used to the frigid Wisconsin winters.

 

She is survived by her siblings Herb and Carol; children Michael (Trina) Adkins of Clyman, WI, Koni Adkins of Jefferson and Scott (Ann) Adkins of Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Casie, Ashley, Melissa, Jenny, Jessica, Zach and Max; six great-grandchildren, Dom, Jax, Reagan, Duke, Frankie and Teddy.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her sister, Pat.
