Obituary of Katherine Frances Doyle

KATHERINE “KATIE” F. DOYLE, age 88 of Jefferson passed away peacefully at her home in Jefferson.  She was born on June 21,1934 in Los Angeles, California to John and Gretta (Holahan) Doyle.

Katie has been a member of the St. Coletta community for many years. She enjoyed singing with the NOVA choir, playing basketball, and participating in Special Olympics.  
Katie also worked in the St. Coletta kitchen and housekeeping services.  Vacations at Christmas and in the summertime, we’re spent visiting her family in Southern California where she visited amusement parks and beach areas.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as many longtime friends at St. Coletta.

Katie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday February 16, 2023, at the Chapel of the Flowers in the Alverno building on campus.  Visitation will be at the chapel from 12:00 noon until the time of Mass.  Burial will follow in the St. Coletta cemetery.
