Obituary of Ellis James Erb Jr

­ELLIS J. ERB JR., age 75 of Lake Mills passed away on Saturday December 17, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.  He was born on April 10, 1947, In Naperville, IL to Ellis and Ruth (Vilet) Erb Sr.   Ellis farmed in the Lake Mills area for many years, he was a leader in the Jefferson County Agriculture board and served at the Jefferson Fair Park working with sheep judging and the 4H and FFA groups.  He served on the Board for the Farm Credit in Madison.  He loved farming and the outdoors and working with animals.  He was an avid gardener and loved to read, bird watch and caring for the family pond.  He is survived by his family, daughter Naomi Erb of Oconomowoc, son Nathan Erb.  Brothers Jon Erb of Milford, Randy (Marsha Alderman) Erb of Madison, David (Becky) Erb of Johnson Creek, Steven Erb of Johnson Creek.  His former spouse Beth Klucarich-Erb of Oconomowoc.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Joshua Erb and Brother Daniel Erb.
