Obituary of Mary B. Bawcum

MARY B. BAWCUM, age 76 of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Mary was born in England on February 3, 1945, daughter of the late Clyde and Sheila Bawcum. She joined the St. Coletta’s family in 1956 and lived at St. Clare group home and later at Padua Heights. Mary was employed at The Fireside Dinner Theatre. Mary enjoyed painting, coloring, crafts, shopping, church, outings and of course sporting events the Green Bay Packers, but especially Norte Dame and Purdue. Mary enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and solving math problems.

She is survived by her brother, John (Patricia) Bawcum of Winamac, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM at St. Coletta’s Little Flower Chapel on Thursday, July 29, 2021 with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at the family cemetery in Indiana.
