Obituary of Sandra Jean Fischback

Sandra Jean Fischback, 82, Jefferson, was called home to her Savior on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Rainbow Hospice Center, Johnson Creek, WI.

Sandy was born on March 21, 1936 in Kenosha, WI to Martin and Lucille (Whitbeck) Holland.  On June 19, 1954 she married Donald Fischback in Kenosha, WI.  Sandy worked at Steinhafels, Office Essentials and Pickwick Papers.  She enjoyed knitting, baking Thanksgiving pies, writing poetry and drawing.  Sandy’s heart was her family.

She is survived by her loving and beloved husband of 64 years, Donald, of Jefferson; devoted daughter, April Bentley, Pewaukee, WI; loving son, Kurt (Sharyl) Fischback, Jefferson, WI; her dearly loved grandchildren Nathan Bentley, Jaclyn (Andy) Hembel, Justin Speich, Sara Speich, Andrew Zawalich; dear sister, Karen Skowronski, Pleasant Prairie, WI and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Judy Leipzig.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 324 E. North St., Jefferson, WI 53549.  Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the service.  Burial will be held in Kenosha at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
