Obituary of Sally Jean Sawitzke

SALLY J. SAWITZKE, age 78 of Jefferson passed away Friday April 27, 2018 at her home in Jefferson.  She was born on January 8, 1940 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Eugene and Aafton (Savage) Bassett.

Sally was an avid Packer fan. She loved being a grandma and great grandma. 

After leaving the work force, she enjoyed crafts, gardening, and watching the birds. 

She is survived by her daughters; Laurie (Steve) Baker of Lawton, OK and Tammy (Keith) Weller of Johnson Creek.  Six grandchildren Bradley (Jacklyn) Baker, Amber Baker, Colton (Alex) Weller, 

Chauncey Weller, Dalton Weller, Tanner Weller.   Four great grandchildren Silas Baker, Scarlett McLeod, Faith Baker, Wyatt Cope. Her sister Shirley Van Dyke of Rhinelander. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Bon Bassett.  A private family ceremony will be held at a later date in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
