Obituary of Viola Olga Robisch

VIOLA “VI” O. ROBISCH age 97 of Jefferson passed away on May 12, 2018 at Sylvan Crossing Assisted Living in Jefferson.  She was born on October 13, 1920 in Fort Atkinson, daughter of the late Emil and Ella (Stark) Reichert.  “Vi” graduated from Fort Atkinson High School class of 1938.  She had been employed at Hintershields Dime Store in Fort Atkinson.  She married William A. Robisch on March 22, 1943 while he was on leave from the Military.   Viola was employed as a bookkeeper at the Citizens Bank in Fort Atkinson and then at Schweiger Industries in Payroll Department for 21 years retiring in 1982.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson.  She also volunteered at the St. John’s Lutheran school Library, and provided childcare for the members of Grace Notes and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.  She is survived by her daughter Sue Robisch of Scottsdale, AZ, son William A. (Ann) Robisch Jr. of Lakewood.  Grandchildren Matthew (Sara) Robisch of Rib Lake, John Robisch of Francis Creek.  Great Grandchildren Oliver, Theodore, Wilhelm, Jebediah, Rachel Robisch. 

Sister-in-law Joyce Reichert of Whitewater, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband William A. Robisch Sr. on September 24. 2012, son David Robisch,

Brothers Rudolph “Rudy” (Marie) Reichert, Ewald “Rick” Reichert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 19, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Matthew Krenke presiding.  Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30a.m.-11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in the Union cemetery.

Memorials in Viola’s name may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church or School, Lakeside Lutheran School or to Rainbow Hospice.
