Obituary of Walter Eugene Tipton

WALTER E. TIPTON age 97 of Jefferson, passed away on Saturday August 28, 2010 at Alden Estates of Countryside. he was born on April 4, 1913 in Terry Montana. Son of the late Calvin and Emma Tipton He married Rose Klune on June 1, 1938 in Livingston Montana; She preceded him in death on September 13, 1993. Walter was employed at Voeltz's Implement Jefferson. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, The Southern Wisconsin Old Time Fiddlers Association. Walter served in the Civilian Construction Corp. and helped in to build Yellow Stone National Park. He is survived by his daughter; Marie A. Wichlacz of Manitowoc, five grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, he is preceded in death by one daughter; Avene Zwack and Brother LeRoy Babcock Memorial Mass will be held at 11:oo a.m. on September 6, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Jefferson, with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating, burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
